Dress Code

Hair for ALL classes is to be up and pulled back. Examples include a bun, ponytail, braid(s), headband for shorter hair, etc... Hair is part of the dress code and needs to be pulled back for the safety of the dancer.

Please make sure your dancer has the proper shoes for every class. 

Ballet: Baby pink ballet shoes, leather or canvas. If the shoes have strings, please tie and cut them or have them tucked in during every class. They do not stay tied in bows, and loose elastics are a safety hazard. 

Creative Movement: Baby Pink Ballet Shoes

Lyrical/ Contemporary: NudeTurners or Toe Undeez

Leaps + Turns: Barefoot, Nude Turners or Toe Undeez 

Hip Hop: CLEAN Black Sneakers

Pom: Nude Jazz Shoes 

Acro: Barefoot 

Tap: Black Tap Shoes (We recommend Bloch Tap Flex - but please purchase from Discount Dance)

Musical Theater: Nude Jazz Shoes

Improv/Combo: Barefoot, Nude Turners or Nude Toe Undeez

When buying tights, pink tights should be a light, baby pink color. Not hot pink. Pink tights should be convertible. 

For class, tan tights should be convertible and match your dancers skin tone. Competition team tight requirements will be different.
