Studio Policies and FAQ

Monthly tuition is processed via auto-pay on the 1st of the month. If your payment is declined and you have not paid for the month, your dancer cannot participate in classes. Once your tuition is paid, your dancer is welcome to join back in. For every week that your tuition is not paid, a $10 late fee will be added to your account balance.

New students can register all throughout the year online! We recommend enrolling as soon as possible since our classes include cumulative curriculums. The dance season starts in September and ends after the June performance. The summer session starts in June and continues through August.

We offer dance classes for ages 2 - adult in ballet, leaps & turns, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, pom, jazz, and acrobatics!

If you are joining us for a trial class, athletic clothing is all you will need to wear.

Each class has a specific dress code, which you can find on our dance schedule page. 

Yes! All new students to Prodigy Dance Company are welcome to join us for a trial class before they enroll. Please contact the studio to arrange your visit.

Yes! Specific, but not all, classes perform in The Christmas Special, and our entire studio performs in the annual June Show.

Attendance will be taken at the start of each class. Consistent attendance is very important as absences can hold back an entire class.

If a student will be absent from class, please email the studio along with your students preferred make-up class.

We do not provide any refunds for classes that are missed.

In the case of inclement weather, Prodigy follows Harbor Spring's school closings. If schools are closed due to weather, all classes will be canceled. We want everyone to stay safe!

Make up days are not scheduled for snow days. All snow days and holidays are figured into final tuition. There will be no refunds or tuition adjustments due to short months.

Advanced notice before the 1st of the next month is required in writing emailed to the studio if a family wishes to no longer continue classes. If you do not email the studio by the 1st of the month, that month’s tuition will be charged. No refunds are given for missed classes.
